The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine regarding Development of State Search-and-Rescue Services and Measures to be taken in order to prevent and eliminate Emergency Situations of Technological and Natural Types"

The legislative act introduces amendments to the Laws "On Protection of Population and Territories from Emergency Situations of Technological and Natural Types" and "On Search-and-Rescue Services" appertaining to the enhancement of medical and psychological rehabilitation of persons who performed search-and-rescue works and victims of an emergency situation; medical provision of activity of search-and-rescue services; formation of State programs in the field of search-and-rescue service.

A relevant Bill was registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by Reg. No. 2744.
